Our mission is to empower uniquely seasoned women with coaching and guided self-care towards higher levels of personal development AND to provide a platform, a community and a forum where women can discuss relevant topics, share our struggles and celebrate our triumphs. Additionally, WOACA seeks to impact women’s total wellness by providing mental health resources, information, and support services through its non-profit – The Ladybug Foundation for Mental Health and Brain Disease..

SHARON FLETCHER JONES
Founder/CEO/Author
Sharon Fletcher Jones is a true Libra, an action-ist, and a budget fashionista. The Portsmouth, Virginia native is a certified life coach, a certified mental health coach, an associate editor at ONYX Magazine, a life skills instructor and prosperity planner for Goodwill Industries, and an author.
Sharon produced and hosted The Koffee Klatch, a local radio talk show and an hour-long show on the Jericho Broadcast Network called Conversation Peace, The Talk Show. She worked as a City of Orlando commissioner’s aide, as a consultant in the historic Town of Eatonville, Florida, was the feature writer for the Orlando Advocate Newspaper, and served as managing editor of ONYX Magazine.
Sharon enjoys giving back to the community through various civic and charitable efforts including rights restoration for ex-offenders, Making Strides against Breast Cancer, Harbor House for Abused Women and Children, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Odessa Chambliss Quality of Life Fund, Let’s Kick Asthma Foundation, Steinway Society, Global Peace Film Festival, Preserve Eatonville Community, and as a member of the Central Florida Association of Black Journalists.
Her own Ladybug Foundation for Mental Health & Brain Disease will help provide funding for research and mental health services to women in need. Stacey’s mom (and Drew’s mother-in-love) has got it going on, literally. Fletcher Jones’ personal mantra is “It’s the DASH that counts.”

Our podcast is where women of a certain age tackle hot and hard topics, share self-care secrets, talk about food, finances and fashion, celebrate each other and just have fun!
